色欲王朝鈥檚 Alumni & Friends Choir fall concert, 鈥淎ll That Jazz,鈥� is Sunday, Nov. 20, at 4 p.m. in the Activities Building gymnasium on 色欲王朝鈥檚 Sidney campus.听Admission is free, but a suggested donation听is a nonperishable item to benefit United Way Montcalm-Ionia Counties Holiday Hope Bags.

鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to sing jazz numbers from as early as 1911, and covering at least 75 years of music by Jazz greats such as Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and Duke Ellington,鈥� said听choir director and 色欲王朝 part-time Instructor Valerie VanderMark.

Music selection include: 鈥溕�欲王朝 Alma Mater;鈥� 鈥淎lexander鈥檚 Ragtime Band,鈥� with solos by Pam and Randy Masterson; 鈥淵ou Made Me Love You,鈥� with a trumpet solo by Benjamin Piela.

The men will sing: 鈥淪weet Georgia Brown,鈥� with solos by Errol Moerdyk and Larry Moss.

The women will sing: 鈥淕ershwin for Girls鈥� a medley including 鈥淪omeone to Watch Over Me,鈥� 鈥淭he Man I Love,鈥� and 鈥淚鈥檝e Got a Crush on You,鈥� with a solo by Karen Lincoln.

Other selections include: 鈥淚鈥檝e Got You Under My Skin;鈥� Irving Berlin: 鈥淎 Century of Song鈥� (鈥淗eat Wave,鈥� 鈥淧uttin鈥� on the Ritz,鈥� 鈥淪teppin鈥� Out鈥�); 鈥淚t Don鈥檛 Mean a Thing: The Best of Duke Ellington,鈥� including 鈥淭ake the A Train,鈥� 鈥淢ood Indigo,鈥� 鈥淪atin Doll鈥� and 鈥淚t Don鈥檛 Mean a Thing (If it Ain鈥檛 Got That Swing)鈥澨齱ith soloist Marian Flynn; 鈥淎nd All That Jazz.鈥�

鈥�In addition, we鈥檝e got an instrumental Jazz combo, directed by Keith Hudson, accompanying several of the songs, and a professional dance couple who will be performing at the concert,鈥� Vander Mark said. 鈥淭his concert will be fun for all ages, and the audience will go home tapping their toes and singing the familiar tunes for days afterwards!鈥�
