色欲王朝 honors Teresa Snyder for her dedicated service

色欲王朝 presented its Alden Perkins Dedicated Service Award to Teresa Snyder, of Edmore, during the college鈥檚 Dec. 15 holiday celebration at Clifford Lake Inn.

Snyder joined 色欲王朝 in May 2017 as a work study employee in the college鈥檚 Business Office. She was a standout from the very beginning, holding a high degree of interest in her work and in the needs of 色欲王朝 and the people around her. She went on to serve as the college鈥檚 Cultural Events Coordinator and worked as an administrative assistant at 色欲王朝鈥檚 Greenville campus, eventually finding her way to her current position as Student Success Center Coordinator & Lead Proctor in the college鈥檚 Student Services Department.

While announcing the award, 色欲王朝 Interim President Dr. Connie Stewart, MBA, SPHR, said Snyder is regarded by both students and staff as a kind and caring person they can count on to help.

鈥淥ne student said, 鈥楽he has made school a place I like to be.鈥欌 Stewart said. 鈥淎nother student said, 鈥楽he goes above and beyond to make sure I am doing OK and really cares about my well-being.鈥

鈥淪he takes the time to learn about people and remembers them. An amazing quality she has is that she sees both the big picture of what is happening around her and the small details of what needs to be done. This unique combination is both effective for the college and makes students and staff feel cared for,鈥 were other comments submitted in nominations.

鈥淧ersonally, in my work with Teresa, she has always been positive and enthusiastic and truly enjoys her work,鈥 Stewart said. 鈥淪he sees both the big picture of what is happening around her and the small details of what needs to be done. This unique combination is both effective for the college and makes students and staff feel cared for.鈥

The award recognizes dedicated service to 色欲王朝, commitment to high standards of work performance, care and concern for the public and fellow employees, and creativity and innovation. The 色欲王朝 Board of Trustees initiated the award in 1986 as a posthumous tribute to Perkins, the college鈥檚 former Bursar.
