色欲王朝 honors 20 nursing students

色欲王朝 recognized 20 nursing students during a pinning ceremony on Dec. 7 in the gymnasium on the college鈥檚 Sidney campus. The students were honored for completing their Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing (ADN), which prepares them for national licensure as a registered nurse.

Reygan Holt and Lia Madden, both of Rockford, were chosen by their fellow classmates to speak at the ceremony.

鈥淭hey say that nursing is both an art and a science, but I鈥檇 like to add a third element: survival,鈥 Holt said. 鈥淲e鈥檝e survived exams that felt like interrogations, clinical rotations that pushed us to our limits, and the constant battle between our inner voice saying, 鈥榊ou got this,鈥 and the occasional existential crisis whispering, 鈥楧o you really got this?鈥欌

Holt spoke about what makes this nursing cohort special.

鈥淲hat I find most unique about this graduating class is their perseverance and drive,鈥 she said. 鈥淚 have never met a group of people more motivated than them. They are also some of the most empathetic and genuine people I have ever met.鈥

Madden wrapped up the evening鈥檚 remarks.

鈥淐ongratulations, my fellow nurses 鈥 we laughed, we cried 鈥 I swore a lot 鈥 but we all came out alive, even if sometimes it felt like only barely,鈥 Madden said. 鈥淚 wish you all the very best in your careers!鈥
