色欲王朝

鈥疶he 色欲王朝 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 bowling teams competed in their first match on Friday, Jan. 5, at Ancilla College in Indiana.听

Freshman Zoey Guernsey, of Ionia, took third place overall with a 523 series and the highest scoring game of the day with 200.听

鈥淭oday was an overall great day,鈥� Guernsey said. 鈥淚 was very nervous walking into the match. Everyone played very good and I鈥檓 very proud of everyone.鈥�听

The women鈥檚 team finished second overall, while the men鈥檚 team finished third overall.听

The teams competed in three games to make up the series and four baker challenges to conclude the meet.听The competition consisted of 52 bowlers, 29 men, 23 women from five schools: Jackson College, Muskegon Community College, 色欲王朝, Ancilla College at Marian University and Kellogg Community College.听

Coach David Berry talked about the future of bowling at 色欲王朝.听

鈥淚 think we have a solid team for both men and women,鈥� Berry said. 鈥淚 am looking forward to our bowlers getting better each week and continuing to grow the program moving forward.鈥�听

The men's team was led by Ethan Hopkins who finished 12th听overall and finished the series with a 489, followed by Nickolas Pennock听 (451), Jake Cutler (423), Jerald Brownell (378), Drake Syrjala (347) and Lucas Hirkaway (229). The women's team was led by Zoey Guernsey who finished 3rd听overall to lead the Centurions (523). Anna Humphrey finished in the top 15 with a score of 398, followed by Aubrey Marlin (310), McKenna Nash (279), and Alyssa Unger (260).听

Both teams will travel to Muskegon Community College for the East/West Jamboree on Jan. 12, with a start time of 9:30 a.m.听
